Panjab University with a five star status bestowed by NAAC has been in the forefront
in imparting quality education. With the campus spread over 550 acres, the University

It gives me
immense pleasure to inform you that on its diamond jubilee celebrations,
the university has launched a new management institute of international standards
to offer sector specific management programmes to fulfil the aspirations of the
student and the industry alike. In its pursuit for excellence, University Institute
Of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) has been developed to offer innovative courses
which are market driven to help students harness true potential for benefitting
from the emerging sectors of economy. Teaching- learning pedagogies at UIAMS have
been so designed to ensure industry participation and orientation. The institute
aims at striving towards filling the gap of demand and supply in the Management
Education. These market driven management programmes have been designed with an
objective, “to blend the work experience of executives with updated need based curriculum
in management, provide opportunities for self development and inculcate creativity.”
