The Objective of this two year full MBA (INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT) is to make
indefatigable, omniscient, discerned technocrats into strategic decision makers,
so called Infrastructure managers, to meet all kinds of present and projected requirement
in the infrastructure sector. This programme will give exposure to the latest advancement
in technology application & project management systems & will enable the
student for market suitability to fulfill the ever-increasing demands in the infrastructure
sector.
Infrastructure management is a diversified filed having vivid tapestry of the fields
like power, Energy, Construction, telecom etc. The program encompasses a comprehensive
& well-structured two-year class room study, to enable students to formulate
policies & manage alternative regulatory regimes in the best of interests of
the businesses.
The opportunities are manifold; Indian strong presence, due to globalization, it
is open for huge foreign investment that is set to ignite this sector like never-before.
By then it will need additional work force to 90 million to sustain it.
Government is going to invest around US $ 150 billion (INR 6750 billion) in next
five years to develop country is infrastructure, but the country has been experiencing
a dearth of trained professionals. The program is aimed at building capacity of
experts in regulation to ensure as managers of public utilities, consultants &
as government regulators.
